Youth lost control of motorcycle on Hanif flyover and died

A young man named Md Sharif Hossain (38) died after losing control of his motorcycle and hitting a security barrier on the Jatrabari Hanif flyover in the capital. Son of Mubarak Ali of Nawabpur Road, Sharif Wazi Police Station. He was working as an officer of a park called Magic Island in Keraniganj.

The accident happened on Thursday morning. Later, the police recovered the body and sent it to the morgue of Dhaka Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.

When asked about this, the Sub-Inspector (SI) of Jatrabari police station deleted. Farzana Akhtar said, we got the news and recovered his body from Dholaipard area above Hanif flyover at Jatrabari intersection. Later, after the legal process, the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.

He also said that we have come to know that the deceased person lost control of the motorcycle on the Gulistan-bound motorcycle and hit the safety barrier on the Mayor Hanif flyover bridge. He died on the spot.

Rajib, brother-in-law of the deceased, said, ‘The deceased Sharif worked in a private company called Magic Island in Keraniganj. He got married a few days ago. His wife Muskan is pregnant. After work, he was returning to his home in Nawabpur, Dhaka from Keraniganj this morning. We learned that he died on the spot following an accident on the flyover. After the autopsy, we came to Dhaka Medical to take his body for burial. I don’t know what to tell his wife when I go home.’
