Wooden skyscrapers are works of art. Designing multi-storey wooden buildings will be easier from next year

Ssmelters made only of wood, but also in combination with other materials, are in the Czech Republic increasingly popular. Wooden buildings for example, they grow in Prague, Řeporyje, Pardubice instead of the dilapidated Tesla factory and in many other places. Material the Czech Republic has enoughafter all, it is even the largest exporter of raw wood in the EU. And it creates apartment buildings, offices, family houses and bridges.

However, Czech designers often complain that, in their opinion, domestic safety standards are too strict and that, for example, they do not allow buildings higher than 12 meters, i.e. four floors. But the firefighters refuse. “It’s not like that, there’s no height limit. But designing from five floors up is more difficult. By the end of the year, however, we will submit a new standard that will simplify the construction of taller buildings,” says Daniel Miklós, Deputy Director General of the Fire and Rescue Service, in an interview with HN.
