The 81st Golden Globes Awards were held on Sunday (January 7) night. Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. and Christopher Nolan showed surprise in it. Films like ‘Oppenheimer’, ‘Barbie’, ‘Poor Things’ and ‘Anatomy of Fall’ won the award. This year’s event was hosted by Joe Coy.

Oppenheimer won the title of best motion picture at the Golden Globes 2024. Even Christopher Nolan was chosen as the best director for this film. Meanwhile, Poor Things also won the Golden Globes in the Best Motion Picture category. The film Anatomy of a Fall won the award in the motion picture category outside the English language. Japan’s ‘The Boy and the Heron’ won the best animated film category.

‘The Bear’ won the title of best TV series. On the other hand, ‘Succession’ was chosen as the best drama series. Lily Gladstone, Paul Giamatti, Emma Stone, Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Allen White, Ali Wong received Golden Globes for acting.

Meanwhile, Barbie won the Golden Globes for Best Cinematography and Box Office. Billie Eilish, Phineas and Connell won the Best Song category.
