The 12th National Parliament election is going to be held on January 7. Awami League’s nominated candidate for Dhaka-10 constituency is actor Ferdous Ahmed. He is currently busy with campaigning.

Ferdous gave a video message to voters on social media on Thursday (December 21) night. He said, ‘Honorable Prime Minister is an artist and art friendly person. Happy and sad, for reasons and for no reason – always pulls each of our artists. When an artist is in danger, he does not see who belongs to which party, who belongs to which political ideology, who follows which path. As a human being, as a citizen of Bangladesh, he stood beside him, kept him close. Where can we find such a sympathetic prime minister?’

Besides, this contestant of Dhaka-10 seat also reminded that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has kept her word. Ferdous said, ‘He (Prime Minister) promised in the last election that he will see us in this election. He promised, he kept his word. No one keeps his word, but our honorable Prime Minister keeps his word. If there is no confidence in it, then who else will have confidence? We all have faith in Sheikh Hasina.’

With the message of making the election fair and competitive, Chitranayak further said, ‘We will make the next election festive and competitive by bringing all the parties together and make it a fair, beautiful and clean election. And through that election, I will take my Dhaka-10 seat, my friends-relatives, my colleagues, my leaders and activists with me, and with a lot of votes, I will hand over the Dhaka-10 seat to the Honorable Prime Minister, inshallah. Joy Bangla Joy Bangabandhu.’

Incidentally, Ferdous Ahmed studied mass communication and journalism from Dhaka University. Later he chose acting as a profession. Stand in front of the camera for the first time for the film ‘Fire in the chest’. The film was directed by Chhatku Ahmed in 1997. Then in 1998, he made his solo debut as a hero in the film ‘Prithibi Amare Chai Naa’ directed by Anjan Chowdhury. And with the movie ‘Sudden Rain’, he won the hearts of the audience from both sides of Bengal. He also acted in Bollywood films. Ferdous has won four National Film Awards in his career.
