Saudi Arabia has announced the start of the holy month of Ramadan. It is reported that the moon of the holy month of Ramadan was seen in the sky of the country on Sunday. As such, fasting is starting from Monday in the country. The Supreme Court of the country informed this information on Sunday.

According to Gulf News media, earlier Australia, Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia announced that fasting will start on Tuesday in these countries. Australia said on Sunday that Monday is the last day of the month of Shaban in the country. That is, Tuesday (March 12) will be the first day of Ramadan. Fasting will begin on that day.

Fasting starts next Tuesday in Singapore, Philippines too. The countries officially said that the moon of the month of Ramadan was not seen in the sky on Sunday. Because of this, the fast will start next Tuesday.

The National Imam Council of Australia said that the Grand Mufti of the country. The date of the start of fasting has been announced after a long discussion between Ibrahim Abu Mohammad and the Imams of the Fatwa Parishad.

Giving this information, Australia’s Fatwa Parishad said that the holy month of Ramadan will start in the country from next Tuesday (March 12). The first Taraweeh prayer should be offered on Monday night.
