Arthritis generally refers to inflammation of the joints. This disease can affect one or more joints. This disease usually occurs in old age. But nowadays people of younger age are affected by this disease. The disease is more common in winter than at any other time of the year. For many, managing this pain in winter becomes a big challenge.

Many diseases occur during winter. Climate change has a negative impact on nature. The body is not free from this effect. Bone tissue expands and contracts more in winter. As the tissue expands, increased pressure is placed on the nerve. As a result, joint pain is felt. Symptoms of winter arthritis should not be ignored.

Arthritis is more common in knee joints. Climbing high places more stress on the knees. Carrying something heavy is difficult. The knee swells. Rheumatoid arthritis is a type of chronic arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis starts with pain in the joints of the hands and toes, then spreads to the ankles, knees, thighs.

What to do to stay away from arthritis

1. Wear heavy clothes to stay away from cold in winter.

2. Wear gloves in addition to winter clothing for added protection when going outside.

3. Don’t let your knees and elbows get cold. Wear extra layers of clothing if possible.

4. Avoid sugar, soft drinks, fast food, processed food.

5. Eat fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, nuts. It will reduce the pain in the joints.

6. Sunlight is necessary to get vitamin D.

7. Do not overwork.

8. Do not take too much stress. Stress causes anxiety, and this can increase arthritis pain.

9. Instead of over-resting, try to stay busy with work.

10. Along with walking, you can exercise or do yoga. Make walking, exercise a regular habit.

11. Spend time with family.
