The official campaign for the 12th National Assembly election ends tomorrow Friday at 8 am. Candidates are busy campaigning all over the country since morning on the last day. They are running to the voters in alleys. Wanting votes, making various promises.
Members of the armed forces entered the field last Wednesday to secure the vote. Earlier, members of Police, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), Border Guard Bangladem (BGB), Coast Guard entered the field on December 29.
Police and Ansar members will enter the field on Friday for the security of the polling station. For the first time in this election, the ballot paper will go to the polling station in the morning. However, ballot papers will be sent to more than 4,000 remote polling stations on Thursday. Ballot papers are being sent to these centers the previous day considering the travel route.
On January 7, polling will be held in 299 constituencies from 8 am to 4 pm. The Election Commission (EC) has canceled the polling of Naogaon-2 constituency due to the death of a candidate.
