Two teachers had a fight in front of the principal of a madrasa in Chandpur’s Hajiganj. In this incident, the students boycotted the class to demand the justice of the teachers. On Wednesday afternoon, the management board of the madrasa mourned the accused two teachers.

Earlier, two teachers had a fight yesterday at Ramchandrapur Kasemia Chiddikia Fazil Degree Madrasa of Barakul Union number 7 of the upazila on Tuesday.

Madrasa students and local residents said that on Tuesday afternoon, Madrasa teacher Didar Hossain was a little late in taking class IX. After the class he entered the principal’s room. The principal wants to know the reason for the delay in the class. At one stage, another teacher named Hasan got into an argument with the principal by scolding Didar. Teacher Didar and Hasan had a fight in front of the principal. Later the situation was normalized with the intervention of other teachers and students.

After this incident, on Wednesday morning, the students of the madrasa boycotted the classes by hanging the lock on the main gate of the madrasa demanding necessary action against the two teachers. Later, the students returned to the class after the madrasa management board assured them of a fair investigation and trial.

However, Madrasa principal Muhammad Shamsuddin is reluctant to talk about this incident.

When asked about this, Madrasa Board of Directors President MA Hashem Hasu said that the two accused teachers were mourned due to the demands of the students. Students returned to class as teachers were assured of a fair investigation and prosecution of such misconduct.
