Two American citizens of Bangladeshi origin, arrested with one hundred thousand dollars at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, have been interrogated by the court for two days. They are – Mohammad Rezaul Karim and Mohammad Jasim Uddin Khan.
Police produced them in court on Saturday. After that, the police applied to remand them for 10 days for proper investigation of the case. On the other hand, their lawyer applied for bail seeking cancellation of remand.
After the hearing of both sides, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saddam Hossain rejected their remand and bail application and ordered two days of interrogation in jail.
