For the first time, tourist train Tourist Express went to Cox’s Bazar. The train departed from Dhaka at 6:15 am on Wednesday and reached Cox’s Bazar at 3:30 pm. 785 tourists went to Cox’s Bazar on this trip.

Tourists say the long eight-and-a-half-hour train journey is exciting. Many have reported the experience of riding a train for the first time.
Passenger Lopa said that the journey in this train was thrilling and enjoyable. From now on, coming to Cox’s Bazar has become easier.
Meanwhile, while expressing satisfaction with the train journey, some expressed mismanagement. Many tourists also suggested to improve the quality of train service in future.
Denying the mismanagement of the train, Cox’s Bazar Railway Station Master Golam Rabbani said that sufficient manpower has been provided for tourist services in the train. Apart from this, the station master said that the tickets can be bought online and at the station, dismissing the fear of black market of tickets. He says the rent is the same as before.
Meanwhile, the tourism entrepreneurs also said that they are working to ensure that the incoming tourists can visit Cox’s Bazar without any hassles and do not get harassed.
Tourism Express will leave from Dhaka every morning at 6:15 am. I will reach at 3:30 pm. On the other hand, the train will leave Cox’s Bazar at 8 pm and reach Dhaka at 4:30 am. Tourist Express will run 6 days a week except Tuesday.
