Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun said that a reward of Tk 20,000 to Tk 1 lakh will be given to the informant who gives information about sabotage around the elections. He said this to reporters after a meeting on law and order with senior police officers in Jessore on Tuesday.
At that time, the Inspector General of Police said, ‘Strict action will be taken against those who sabotage or attempt to sabotage. We have already identified all the vulnerable centers and areas.’
Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun said, ‘One party is trying to sabotage the election. If someone gives us such information, then a minimum of 20 thousand to a maximum of 1 lakh will be given.
The IGP also said that this amount will be increased if necessary based on the information.
Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun also said, ‘Whoever gives the information will be kept completely confidential. so that his safety is not disturbed.’
