Russia carried out more than 150 drone and missile strikes in Ukraine in one day, the “biggest” Russian attack since the start of military operations in the country. In response, Ukraine counterattacked Russia on Saturday. Russian authorities have reported that at least two people were killed, including a child.

According to the British media BBC, the Russian Defense Department claimed to shoot down 13 missiles and 32 drones from Ukraine. Among them, one child was killed in Bryansk region and one in Belgorod.

Although no direct claim has been made by Ukraine in this regard, the country’s media say that more than 70 drone attacks have been carried out in Russia.

Earlier on Friday, Russia launched more than 150 drone and missile attacks in Ukraine. At least 31 people were killed and 130 injured.

Russian drone and missile attacks began on Friday morning local time in Ukraine. This attack continued throughout the day on various civilian establishments including educational institutions. Kiev said that there were many casualties.

Ukraine’s Air Force claims that Russia has never launched so many simultaneous attacks before. However, Ukraine has claimed to destroy several missiles and drones.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that Russia had used all their weapons. On this day, attacks were carried out in various areas, including Kiev, Lviv in the west, Odesa and Zaporizhia in the south, and Dnipro and Kharkiv in the east.

Several educational institutions, hospital maternity units and civilian facilities were damaged in the Russian attack. Some cities have been left without electricity.

Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden said that despite various efforts, there has been no change in Russia’s attitude towards the aggression in Ukraine. In addition, the military alliance NATO said to be on alert. Earlier in November 2022, Russia fired 96 missiles over Ukraine.
