Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy is organizing ‘Ganajagarne Film Festival’. As part of this, Khizir Hayat Khan’s Liberation War-based movie ‘Ora 7 Jan’ will be screened in 64 districts of the country.
The movie will be screened simultaneously at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy’s Jatiya Chitrashala auditorium in Dhaka on Thursday at 7:30 pm and on Friday at 4 pm in the auditorium of Shilpakala Academy in 63 districts of the country.
Ora 7 producer Khizir Hayat Khan said, ‘Thank you to Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy for giving us the opportunity to watch on the big screen in 64 districts including Dhaka. When the Bangladeshi film industry is dying due to lack of a fair and transparent distribution system, such alternative initiatives are giving the public a unique opportunity to watch good movies. I request those who could not watch the movie in the cinema hall to take this opportunity.’
Meanwhile, They 7 were released in theaters on March 3 last year. The story of the movie revolves around the battlefield heroics of seven freedom fighters and an epic campaign. Ora 7 Jana is inspired by the first liberation war based movie ‘Ora 11 Jana’ directed by farmer Nazrul Islam.

Incidentally, the art festival started in 64 districts of the country from last December 29. Mohammad Nuruzzaman’s ‘Aam-Kanthale Chhu’ and Gautam Kairi’s ‘Bangamata’ have already been screened.
