Senior Secretary of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs Mostafizur Rahman said that there will be no restrictions on the movement of public transport and private vehicles on the day of voting for the 12th National Assembly elections on January 7.

The senior secretary said this at a training program for executive magistrates at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital on Tuesday.

Mostafizur Rahman said that although public transport and private cars will operate, motorcycles, microbuses and steamers will remain closed. The concerned ministry will soon issue instructions in this regard.
