The Sakova resort will cooperate in the control of industrial park construction procedures

The Ministry of Economy will cooperate with the Supreme Audit Office in reviewing processes related to the construction of strategic industrial parks in Rimavská Sobota and Košice. The press department of the department informed about it on Tuesday.

“After I joined the Ministry of Economy, I was informed about a number of problems, including a complaint from one investor that the state is not fulfilling its promises in the construction of industrial parks and we are threatened with fines,” said the head of the department, Denisa Saková (Voice-SD), saying, that the ministry is doing everything to avoid this process.

The inspection will also focus on state-owned companies within the scope of the department, namely MH Invest and Valaliky Industrial Park.

These companies are preparing strategic territories where, among other things, plants of the Volvo or Winkelmann companies should grow. According to the press department, in both cases Slovakia undertook to prepare industrial parks by specific dates.
