Brahmanbaria has left the withdrawn Deputy Commissioner Md. Shahgir Alam. He left his bungalow for Dhaka on Thursday afternoon.

Earlier in the afternoon, Shahgir Alam, the new Deputy Commissioner. He explained the responsibility to Habibur Rahman. The newly added Deputy Commissioner was the Deputy Director of Kishoreganj Local Government Division.

12th National Parliament elections on December 10, Deputy Commissioner Md. Election Commission decided to withdraw Shahgir Alam.

Md. Shahgir Alam joined as Deputy Commissioner of Brahmanbaria on 13 January 2022. This officer was discussed in various incidents during his career of about 2 years in this district.

Shahgir Alam signed the transfer order for 8 posts of process server, clerk, office assistant, cleaner on 13 December and 2 posts of sub-administrative officer and 1 post of office assistant on the previous day.

Apart from this, Deputy Commissioner Shahgir Alam processed the applications of some institutions and organizations to receive grants. Officials of those organizations and institutions applied for allocation of 3 to 5 tons. In addition to the application, some of these organizations gave a farewell reception to the Deputy Commissioner by singing the crest and the northern throat.

On Wednesday, the outgoing Deputy Commissioner was felicitated by the initiative of the Officers Club. Apart from that, no other reception was organized.
