Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has announced to increase the price of gold in the country’s market again. Good quality (22 carat) gold has increased by Tk 1,750. Accordingly, the price of gold will be 1 lakh 11 thousand 50 taka. Which will be implemented from Sunday.

This information was informed in a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, chairman of the Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee on Saturday. Earlier, the price of gold was increased in the country’s market on December 18.

According to Bajus, the new price of gold has been determined considering the overall situation in the local market, which increases the price of acidic gold. This price will be implemented from tomorrow Sunday.

According to the new prices, 22 carat gold will be sold at Tk 1 lakh 11 thousand 50, 21 carat at Tk 1 lakh 6 thousand 25, 18 carat at Tk 90 thousand 863 and traditional gold at Tk 75 thousand 699.

However, the price of silver remains unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka. The price of 21 carat silver is Rs 2,660 and the price of 18 carat silver is Rs 1,715. And the traditional method price of 1000 283 rupees has been fixed.
