The newly sworn in cabinet members will pay homage to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and at Savar National Memorial today.

The press wing of the Prime Minister informed that the members of the cabinet under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will pay tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at 32 Dhanmondi on Friday at 10 am. Then at 11 o’clock they will pay their respects at Savar National Memorial.

Besides, the members of the new cabinet will also pay respects at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungipara, Gopalganj tomorrow Saturday under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Awami League led by Sheikh Hasina has been elected for the fourth consecutive time by getting 222 seats in the 12th National Parliament Election. Independent candidates won 62 seats. Jatiya Party won 11 seats. And Walkers Party, Jasad and Bangladesh Kalyan Party won one seat each.

Sheikh Hasina took charge as the head of government for the fourth time in a row by forming a new cabinet on Thursday (January 11). 25 ministers and 11 state ministers are accompanying Sheikh Hasina in this cabinet.
