Although the fog has subsided in Panchagarh, a mild cold current has been flowing from evening to next morning for four consecutive days. A minimum temperature of 9.4 degrees Celsius was recorded last Saturday. Since then the minimum temperature has been hovering between 9 and 10.
The Tetulia Met office recorded a minimum temperature of 9.5 degrees Celsius at 9 am on Tuesday. Monday’s minimum was 9.7. However, the day temperature was recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, like every other day, on Tuesday too, the sun will be seen by 7 am. In the morning sun, relief returns to public life. The hardworking people attending work in the morning are suffering from the fog and the cold north wind. Especially vegetable farmers and traders have suffered more.
Russell Shah, Officer-in-Charge of Tentulia Meteorological Office, said that since Saturday, continuous mild cold flow has continued in Tentulia and surrounding areas. The minimum temperature is hovering between 9 and 10. A minimum temperature of 9.5 degrees Celsius was recorded at 9 am on Tuesday.
