Iran’s Foreign Minister was invited to visit Pakistan by Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani. Hussain Amir-Abdullahian boarded Noor Khan Airbus in Islamabad on Monday. According to Indian media NDTV, he will hold several rounds of talks to fix the recent bitter relationship between the two countries.

In addition to Pakistani Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdullahian is scheduled to meet with the Prime Minister of the country’s caretaker government, Anwar ul Haque Qakar.

On January 16, Iran attacked a military base in Pakistan. In response, Pakistan attacked Iran on January 18.

Meanwhile, 9 Pakistanis were killed by gunmen in the south-eastern border area of ‚Äč‚ÄčIran. The incident took place last Saturday amid recent tensions between Iran and Pakistan. Qatar-based media Al-Jazeera reported this information.

Iranian media Meher News also confirmed the truth of this tragic death and published the news. According to the media, miscreants killed nine people by attacking a mess in the town of Saravan on the Pakistan border. All the dead are reported to be Pakistani workers. Locals said they used to work in a car repair factory.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack. However, Iran’s law and order forces said they have launched a search operation to catch the criminals. On this side, Pakistan condemned the killing and demanded a quick investigation and punishment of the culprits.
