Officially, the cabinet members are sitting for the first time on Monday. However, nothing is known about the topics discussed in the meeting.

Today’s cabinet meeting will be held at the Prime Minister’s office. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will preside over the meeting. Last Saturday, the Prime Minister held an informal meeting with the Cabinet members at his home in Tungipara. In today’s meeting, the Prime Minister will give direction to the new cabinet members.

On January 11, the new cabinet ministers and state ministers took oath. The new 36 Ministers-Ministers of State have already accepted the responsibilities of their ministries and departments. On Sunday, they met the officials and employees of the Secretariat and exchanged greetings.
