‘I was working for the betterment of cricket, but it is not possible for us to continue working like this. Now everything is in the hands of the Prime Minister (PM Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar), he will nominate anyone (as PCB chief) of his choice’ – Zaka Ashraf said at the ongoing meeting of the PCB committee, Geo News quoted sources as saying.
After the resignation of Zaka Ashraf, the Prime Minister of Pakistan nominated Naqbi as the chief patron of the PCB. The decision of the PCB election has been decided within the next two weeks. After that, Mohsin Naqbi will officially become the head of PCB.
After the news of Naqbi becoming the PCB chief came out in the media, he said, ‘I will try to solve the issues that are harming Pakistan cricket. It’s just a matter of time to shape cricket.’
