United Medical College Hospital discusses the death of baby Ayaan due to circumcision. This time the health department has opened its mouth about this medical college.

On December 31, his parents took baby Ayan to the United Medical College Hospital for circumcision. Anesthesia was administered to the child at around 9 am. However, the doctor allegedly circumcised Ayan under ‘full anaesthesia’ (general) without permission.
Later he was sent to United Hospital in Gulshan as he did not regain consciousness. He was kept on life support in the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) there. Doctors declared the child dead at midnight on January 7, election day.
Directorate of Health has formed a 4-member investigation committee to investigate the allegations of doctors’ negligence in this incident.
Meanwhile, a writ has also been filed in the High Court seeking cancellation of the license of United Medical College Hospital, cancellation of the certificate of the concerned doctor and compensation of one crore rupees in connection with the death of Shishu Ayaan. The writ was filed by Supreme Court lawyer Advocate ABM Shahjahan Akand Masum last Tuesday.
In this incident, two doctors – anesthesia specialist Dr. Saeed Sabbir Ahmed and Dr. The child’s father filed a case against the directors and employees of the institution including Tasnuva Mahjabin.
The family alleges that the child Ayaan died due to medical negligence. Hospital authorities wasting time besides giving additional anesthesia without permission.
Ayan’s uncle said. Manik said, ‘They announced that Ayan was dead. Then they hastily handed over a bill of 5 lakh 77 thousand rupees that you should hurry up and pay when you can. I want justice for the death of baby Ayaan. I want the death penalty for two doctors.’
