Sylhet youth dies in road accident in Kuwait

A Bangladeshi named Fahim Ahmed (26) was killed in a road accident in Kuwait last Monday. The deceased Fahim is the son of Abdul Jalil of Motichar village of Mogla Bazar union of Dakshin Surma upazila of Sylhet district.

Fahim was cycling to work in Mangaf area of ​​Kuwait around 5pm local time. A car hits a bicycle. He died on the spot.

Eamon Mia, the cousin of the deceased, confirmed the incident and said, ‘Fahim was crossing the signal when another car hit his bicycle. Fahim died on the spot. He worked in a company. The accident happened when he went out for part-time work after duty.’

Emon said that the deceased Fahim Ahmed came to Kuwait six years ago. Fahim was returning to Kuwait in January last year after a two-month vacation. He is the youngest among four sisters and two brothers. His untimely death has cast a pall over the family.

Fahim’s body is currently kept in the morgue. His relatives said that after the necessary process, the body will be sent to the country soon.
