Swastika Mukherjee has come to Dhaka from Kolkata to attend the Dhaka International Film Festival. Today (January 24) at 7 pm in the main auditorium of the National Museum, his film ‘After Victory’ will be screened. Along with the audience, Swastika and other film crews will also be there. The movie is produced by Indian director Abhijit Sridas.
In a press release, the Dhaka Film Festival authorities said, Swastika Mukherjee will talk about the movie ‘After Victory’ at the Cineplex on the ground floor of the National Museum today at 5:30 pm.
Dipankar Dey played the role of Mamata Shankar’s husband in this movie about an elderly couple suffering from self-pity. It features Mir Afsar Ali, Mishka Halim, Vidipta Chakraborty, Ritabrat Mukhopadhyay, Kheya Chattopadhyay and many others. The movie was earlier screened at the 29th International Kolkata Film Festival.
Dhaka International Film Festival curtain went up last Saturday. From the beginning, this film festival has gathered the presence of stars from home and abroad.
250 films from 74 countries including Bangladesh. Out of this 129 feature films, 123 short and independent films. And there are 71 films of Bangladesh.
