Students’ thanksgiving and dinner in Sydney

On the evening of January 7, a special thanksgiving and dinner organized by the students was held at Hat Bazar restaurant in Campbelltown area of ​​Sydney, Australia. This special dinner was organized to thank all the business sponsors and volunteers who helped in organizing Begum Rokeya Day on 10th December.

In the first part of the program, the invited guests discussed the importance of reading books, encouraging children to read books by reducing screen time in the current digital invasion, collecting and distributing books and exchanging opinions. The students and guests indulged in recitation of books and reminiscences, jokes, poems, stories and rhymes and recitation of poems with unfailing joy. Also, the guests expressed their opinions and recommendations for the further development of the activities of the student session.

In the second phase of the program, special buffet food was served by Hat Bazar Restaurant. The program was concluded by thanking all the volunteers and business sponsors Advani Real Estate, Cast Creation and Vivavari for the students’ event.

It is to be noted that since the beginning of their journey in February 2022 with the noble purpose of reading books and doing constructive work for the society, Puduar Asar has been organizing various social, cultural and charity programs in addition to regular reading sessions every two months.
