Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that stopping onion export is an internal matter of India. He said, this decision can be changed by discussion.

Addressing BNP, Kader said, ‘Conspiracy is happening at home and abroad, we are not upset. They have an evil plan to create famine in Bangladesh. Preparations are being made to face the famine. We also have the political will to deal with it. The Prime Minister is also quite active.
Quader said that BNP is planning to sabotage the program on Human Rights Day. Awami League will be vigilant to resist them unitedly.
Referring to the contribution of Awami League in the movement to protect human rights, Quader said that the Awami League government passed the Human Rights Act in 2009. Human Rights Commission is working independently and impartially.
Who says there will be fair and participatory elections in Bangladesh, ‘There is no reason to ban us. Rather bans should be imposed on election opponents. Because, they are trying to obstruct the election by burning fire.’
