The ICC Cricket World Cup failure investigation committee has finally come face to face with the two main characters of Bangladesh cricket, Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal. Three members of the committee discussed with them in Sylhet phase of BPL.

Enayat Hussain Siraj, head of the committee, wants to comment on whether the Shakib-Tamim conflict is the reason for the poor performance in the World Cup. He said that the work of the report is over, the decision will come in the board meeting.

Everyone’s statement is over to know the reason for the failure of the World Cup. Only Shakib Al Hasan was left. The captain faces the investigation committee in Sylhet. Shakib is busy with BPL after election engagement. Through it, the investigation committee took the explanation of the Tiger all-rounder.

Akram-Mahbub-Siraj also spoke with Tamim who did not play the World Cup. The country’s best opener asked for his opinion.

Enayet Hossain Siraj, head of the investigation committee, said, ‘There is no explanation to be given in the media. It is done with utmost secrecy. You will all see when the time comes.’

Shakib-Tamim conflict is the reason for the collapse of the World Cup? The investigation committee has not disclosed it for the time being, despite seeking an explanation from the two.

In response to a question, Enayet Hossain Siraj said, ‘What you call conflict, I do not take it into consideration. Many things happen in situations. It is not permanent. Everything is solvable, if desired. and know how to solve it.’

BCB will decide the plan for 2027 ODI World Cup based on the report of the inquiry committee. Even this year T20 World Cup will be decided.

In this context Enayet Hossain Siraj said, ‘Maybe we could not get the result as expected in the World Cup. We are bringing findings as to why we could not and what the problem was. We should not have this problem in future games.’

The inquiry committee will submit the report to BCB next month. Which will be decided in the next board meeting.
