At 5:40 a.m. on this Holy Thursday, March 28, a family with three children, two of them minors, was rescued by firefighters from their Habitual housing which was flooded with water due to the overflow that the river has suffered Montoro in the district of Ventanillas, municipality of Fuencaliente, province of Ciudad Real, according to sources from the Emergency and Emergency Service 112.

The intense rains in recent hours have caused a strong flood of this river that It has flooded practically the entire village catching their neighbors totally off guard. The Puertollano fire department has had to evacuate these seven people who remained trapped by water in a house located on Almirez Street. None of those rescued have been injured. and have subsequently been transferred to relatives’ homes.

The heavy rains are expected to continue in the afternoon, therefore, the mayor of the municipality has appealed to all residents not to leave their homes without an appropriate all-terrain vehicle.

Several Civil Guard agents have also traveled to the place.
