Secret Saviors has launched new skin care products for expectant mothers

Secret Saviors, one of the world’s leading stretch mark prevention wear brand, has launched stretch mark prevention wear for expectant mothers in the country. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a program was organized yesterday at Gulshan Club in the capital.

Infertility specialist and surgeon and president of Obstetrical and Gynecological Society of Bangladesh (OGSB) Professor Dr. Farhana Dewan, Senior Public Health Specialist Dr. Farhana Ahmad, top women leaders, renowned medical professionals and representatives of the Obstetrical and Gynecological Society of Bangladesh (OGSB).

When the skin expands rapidly during pregnancy, stretch marks can appear on the body. Small fissures begin to form from the pressure point, and subsequently the second layer of the skin’s surface (dermis) is partially ruptured. The crack extends at right angles to the normal line of the skin. And once a stretch mark starts to wear on the skin, it never goes away completely. This permanent scar affects the physical, mental and emotional well-being of mothers during pregnancy.

To help prevent stretch marks and give confidence to expectant mothers in the country, Secret Saviors has brought the world-first 3-Step Stretch Mark Prevention Kit to the country. Which includes – day gel, night cream and prevention wear. This kit will help women to prevent sudden pregnancy stretch marks. By using it expectant mothers can become more confident. Which will make their pregnancy time comfortable.

Secret Saviors Preventionwear is made with next-generation textile technology. Special derma dot pads are printed on body-fitting maternity shapewear to hold skin in place. which spreads the pressure as the skin stretches. Prevents stretch marks from spreading downward through the dermis.

The Intelligent Derma Dot technology was developed by scientists at University College London Hospital and brought to Secret Saviors by its founder Sophie Hooper. To date, 40,000 women in the UK have used Secret Saviors products and 82 per cent of users have been able to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. Secret Saviors has received various awards including Mama Awards and Project Baby Awards.

Sophie Hooper said at the event, “We think that when you are going through one of the biggest changes in life, Secret Saviors can be a life-changing wire.” After launching in the UK in 2018, Secret Saviors was launched in Bangladesh for the first time with the support of The Obstetrical and Gynecological Society of Bangladesh (OGSB).
