High performance motorcycle Royal Enfield is coming to the country’s roads in July this year after ending various complications. Initially, 4 models of this 350 cc motorcycle will be available in Bangladesh.
The local manufacturer of the motorcycle is Ifad Motors. Ifad Motors says they are going to launch the brand in the country by May. And the motorcycles will start selling in July.
Reportedly, the 4 models include – Classic, Bullet, Hunter, Meteor.
Regarding the price of the motorcycle, Ifad Group director Taskin Ahmed told the media, ‘We will try to keep the price as low as possible.’
However, it is known that if the dollar price is between 125 rupees when the motorcycles are released in the market, the price of one model of Royal Enfield can be between 5 to 6 lakh rupees.
Last year, the government increased the CC of motorcycles in the country from 165 to 375. After that, Uttara Motors brought the 250 cc Pulsar to the market in Bangladesh. The market value of the motorcycle is 3 lakh 40 thousand taka.
Generally, Royal Enfield is popular around the world for off-roading i.e. for driving on hilly roads or remote areas. Typically the Royal Enfield engine is a 350 cc twin-spark coupled fuel injected. The bike can be driven for 30 kilometers per liter of fuel.
