The court has postponed the date of submission of the investigation report in the case of anti-terrorism law filed at Kotwali police station in connection with the robbery of two militants who were sentenced to death by the court.
Today, Monday was fixed for submission of investigation report of the case. However, on this day, the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit (CTTC), the investigating agency of the case, could not submit the report.
That is why the Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka. Jasim Uddin’s court fixed this date for filing the report.
On November 20, 2022, around 12:30 PM, Abu Siddique Sohail and Mainul Hasan Shamim, members of the Ansarullah Bangla Team, who were sentenced to death in the murder case of publisher Faisal Arefin Dipan, were abducted from the lower court premises of Dhaka. Police Inspector Julhas Uddin Akand filed a case against 20 militants in this incident.
