The court has postponed the date of submission of the investigation report of the case against former Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha (SK Sinha) and his brother Anant Kumar Sinha due to the discovery of a three-storey house in the United States.

Today, Monday was fixed for submission of investigation report of the case. But on this day the ACC could not submit the report.

That is why Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md. Achaduzzaman’s court fixed this date for filing the report.

On March 31, 2022, the case was filed by Deputy Director of the Commission Gulshan Anwar at the Integrated District Office-1 of the ACC.

According to the complaint of the case, SK Sinha during his stay as Chief Justice smuggled various illegal means including hundis to America and transferred it to his younger brother Narendra Kumar Sinha. With that, he bought a house in the New Jersey area of ‚Äč‚ÄčAmerica with $280,000 in cash.
