Residents of the capital have been suffering from continuous rain due to the impact of Cyclone Migjaum. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain across the country till Friday evening. From Saturday, the temperature will decrease slightly, the cold will increase. Cold flow may start in the last part of this month.
Cyclone Migzaum weakened after hitting India’s Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday afternoon. However, its rays have not been cut completely. The weather is still bad in Bangladesh due to the impact of the storm.
It has been raining since Wednesday night in various parts of the country including the capital. The Meteorological Department has predicted gusty winds and rain in 17 districts including Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet on Thursday. After that the situation will be normal. Night and day temperatures may also drop slightly across the country.
Meteorologist Abdur Rahman said, the feeling of winter will start to increase after the rain leaves on Friday evening. Winter will settle in the middle of December. At the end of this month, there is an apprehension of a mild cold wave.
10 mm of rain was recorded in the capital in 24 hours till 6 am on Thursday. The highest rainfall recorded during this period was 26 mm in Jessore.
