Prime Minister pays homage to Bangabandhu’s portrait on Homecoming Day

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at his portrait at Dhanmondi No. 32 on the occasion of his homecoming day. He paid his respects today at 7:55 am on Wednesday.

At this time, Sheikh Hasina stood silently for a while. Later, the Prime Minister paid tribute once again as the party president along with the central leaders of Awami League.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of Bangabandhu’s homecoming day, Awami League has organized a public meeting at Suhrawardy Udyan today. Party president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the public meeting at 3 pm.

In the meantime, all the preparations for the public meeting have been completed. DMP has given traffic instructions in Suhrawardy Udyan and its surrounding areas on the occasion of public meeting.

Road diversion will be in place at Kantaban, Hotel Intercontinental, Matsya Bhavan, Doel Chatwar, Jagannath Hall crossing till the end of VVIP traffic. The police has also fixed the parking space for the cars of the guests. Cars can be parked on both sides of the road in Mohsin Hall Ground, Dhaka University, Doel Chatwar, Dilkusha, Motijheel area.
