The police are working to bring whoever vandalized the train in Tejgaon to justice as soon as possible. DMP Joint Commissioner Biplab Kumar Sarkar said this in his office of Dhaka Metropolitan (DMP) headquarters on Wednesday morning.

He said, DMP has already started CCTV analysis in this brutal incident. The police initially believe that those who have vandalized in the past have also vandalized this time.

Stating that the incident is not an isolated incident, the police say that a party is planning to create anarchy. Such sabotage is being done to attract international attention.

Biplab Kumar Sarkar said, those who have sabotaged will not be exempted. He also said that the police will be in the strictest position to keep Dhaka safe.

Last Monday night, Mohanganj Express leaving from Netrakona was set on fire by miscreants in Tejgaon area and four persons including women and children died. After the incident, a railway case was filed at the Kamalapur Railway Police Station on Tuesday night.

Earlier on December 13, the Mohanganj Express train met with an accident after 20 feet of the railway line was cut in Gazipur. Seven carriages including the engine of the train were overturned and one person died. More than half a hundred passengers were injured in this incident.
