BNP Standing Committee Member Selima Rahman has claimed that the people of the country, including BNP, have rejected the election manifesto of Awami League. Meanwhile, another leader of the party, Nazrul Islam Khan, called on everyone to boycott the polls on January 7.
They said these things during the leaflet distribution program calling for boycott of voting in the Jatiya Press Club area on Wednesday as part of the central program.
Meanwhile, Selima Rahman said, ‘All Bangladesh is going to organize a farce election on the 7th. They announced a manifesto today after coming to power. Their election has been by word of mouth. The next 7th is just announcing. They have captured Bangladesh. All the people of Bangladesh will not accept this election. ‘
BNP leaders claim that common people do not respond to one-sided voting. They are trying to suppress the movement of opposition parties by using police-administration. They also said that they will collect public demands in a united movement.
Meanwhile, Dhaka’s Malibagh. The like-minded parties who are in simultaneous movement with BNP have also held the same program in different areas including Moghbazar, Shantinagar. The leaders of the parties called upon the common people to join the movement to protect democracy and voting rights.
