Hthere is a new star emerging in UFC. And this is called Payton Talbott (8-0-0). The one from Nevada achieved his second victory in the company and continues his frenetic rise. Aplast a Cameron Saaiman (9-2-0), to whom he did not give any option at this Saturday’s Fight Night, and He shared with Padilla the bonus for the night’s performance ($50,000).

South African Cameron Saaiman was knocked out in the second round. Shortly after starting. It was already a miracle that he survived the first round. Talbott, a bantamweight, unleashed a tremendous barrage of blows that dazzled the Apex in Las Vegas. A victory that confirms his promotion.

“A lot of the guys I train with and do rounds with at my gym are bigger than me. And I think I’ve been through some really difficult things in life; Mentally, I really went through it, especially when I was 18; I had some difficult fights,” he had warned before the fight. And he showed that he is up for great things.

Talbott, a fan of video games (and especially the Dark Souls saga), made his professional debut at the end of November 2021 and, two years later, achieved his first victory in the UFC. It was in November of last year against Nick Aguirre. “Everything happened in the blink of an eye; things happen very quickly. I get up, do my things during the day and then it’s time to go train and go to bed,” he reflects.

And, at the same time, he left a reflection on the passage of time in the official UFC media: “It sucks. I don’t like life passing by; time is something you can never get back, but I’m adapting. “I think it’s happening because I’m having a lot of fun with all this, I’m enjoying the whole process.”
