A beauty parlor worker named Monira Parveen Munni (40) was killed by a miscreant in Muksudpur of Gopalganj. The incident took place in front of the pocket gate of the Upazila Health Complex of Tengrakhola Bazar of Muksudpur Upazila around 12 noon on Wednesday.
The deceased beauty parlor worker Monira Parveen Munni was the daughter of Lokman Dhanani of Lohair village of Maharajpur union of Muksudpur upazila. She was an employee of Women’s World Parlor in Upazila Sadar.
Muksudpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Ashraful Alam said that when she went in front of the pocket gate of the Upazila Health Complex of Tengrakhola Bazar to dry some necessary clothes of the parlor, some unknown miscreants cut the beauty parlor worker Monira randomly with a knife and threw her on the road. Later he was rescued and taken to the hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
Mohammad Ashraful Alam also said that the body has been sent to Gopalganj 25-bed general hospital morgue for autopsy. No one has been arrested in this incident yet.
However, the OC also said that efforts are underway to arrest the accused.
