Number of candidates in 5 constituencies in Chandpur is 29

The total number of candidates in the 5 parliamentary constituencies of Chandpur in the upcoming 12th National Assembly elections is 29. They received election symbols last Monday. District Returning Officer and District Commissioner Kamrul Hasan allotted the symbols. The party nominees to participate in the elections on January 7 have received party symbols as well as independent candidates of their choice.

Chandpur-1 Constituency

1. Dr. Salim Mahmud, Awami League (Boat).
2. Md. Salim Pradhan, Islamic Front Bangladesh (Chair).
3. Saiful Islam, Jasad (Mashal).

Chandpur-2 Constituency

1. Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya Bir Bikram, Awami League (Boat).
2. M Isfaq Ahsan, Independent Candidate (Eagle)
3. Md. Emran Hossain Mia, Jatiya Party (Langal)
4. Md. Monir Hossain, Bangladesh Supreme Party (Ektar).
5. Md. Hasan Ali Sikder, Jasad (Mashal).

Chandpur-3 constituencies

1. Dr. Dipu Moni, Awami League (Boat).
2. Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Haque Bhuiyan, Independent Candidate (Eagle).
3. Abu Zafar Md. Mainuddin, Bangladesh Islami Front (Candle).
4. Md. Qawchar Mullah, Zaker Party (Rose Flower).
5. Md. Mohsin Khan, Jatiya Party (Plough)
6. Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, Bangladesh Tariqat Federation, (Flower Garland).
7. Md. Redwan Khan, Independent Candidate (Truck).

1. Muhammad Shafiqur Rahman, Awami League, (Boat).
