EC said at this time. Anichur Rahman said, ‘Everyone has the legal right not to participate in the vote and not to vote. However, participating in and obstructing voting is a serious crime. The law does not give anyone the right to prevent anyone from going to the polling station. If anyone does such work, they will be brought under the law and action will be taken.
The Election Commissioner said, ‘If there is no level playing field anywhere on the polling day, then we will stop polling. When we can fix the environment again, re-polling will be held.’
The EC said that all the candidates are equal to the commission and said, ‘We have no one to call heavyweight and lightweight candidates.’
Anichur Rahman also said, ‘Candidates should be in the field with their supporters with their respective positions. Armed forces will work in the field 13 days before the election. That is why they will be in the field so early that we can present a fair vote to the nation.

Rashed Iqbal Chowdhury presided over the exchange meeting and Sylhet Divisional Commissioner Abu Ahmad Siddiqui, Sylhet Range DIG Shah Mizan Shafiur Rahman also spoke.
