The night temperature will drop further across the country and winter will intensify. Met Office says that although there is no threat of severe cold current, mild cold current may be seen in some parts of the country from tomorrow Wednesday.
Meteorologist Abdur Rahman Khan said that the intensity of winter will increase from Wednesday. However, there is no possibility of cold current for now. At the end of December, the temperature may drop below 10 degrees due to a cold front. As El Nino is active, the overall severity of winter may be a little less this year.

Day and night temperatures may drop by 1 to 2 degrees across the country during this time. However, daytime temperatures may remain almost unchanged.
In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature across the country was 11.4 degrees Celsius at Badalgachi in Naogaon and the maximum temperature was 30.9 degrees Celsius at Teknaf.
