Meteorologist Md. The forecast, signed by Bajlur Rashid, said that the extension of the sub-continental high pressure zone is located over Bihar and adjoining areas. Seasonal normal low pressure is located over South Bay of Bengal.
According to the forecast for Monday, during this time the weather may remain dry with partly cloudy sky. From midnight to morning, moderate to dense fog may occur in northern parts of the country and river basins and light to moderate fog in other parts of the country.
Day and night temperatures may drop slightly during this time. That is, the cold can be felt more.
Meanwhile, in the extended five-day forecast, the Meteorological Office said, the night temperature may drop further during this time. That is, from the end of this week, the night may feel more cold.
In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature across the country was 13.5 degrees Celsius in Tentulia and the maximum temperature was 30.7 degrees Celsius in Teknaf.
Meteorologist Tariful Newaz Kabir said on Sunday, ‘The last 10 days of December may be cold in the country. The night temperature will start decreasing from Monday. Its trend will increase in the northern region.’
