BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has claimed that the new government will not survive even if it is sworn in before the end of the term of Parliament. The party also claimed that the statements of the leaders of the ruling party have proved that fair elections are not possible under the party government.

On Friday, in a press conference at the central office in Nayapaltan, Rizvi said, “The issue of gazettes before the end of the fake polls, the hasty swearing-in and the formation of the government with unprecedented speed prove that an unknown fear and panic has surrounded them.”

Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP said, ‘Life falls in the fear of sleepless uncertainty when the throne falls on the house of cards in the cycle of fake-fraud. The people of the country and the democratic world have rejected the election. The process, the person, the result, the oath, the parliament and the government are all unacceptable.’

Rizvi claimed that Awami League has formed the government in arranged elections even though the people abstained from voting. He also alleged that opposition political leaders and activists are still being arrested.

The senior leader of BNP claimed that Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and some leaders and workers are not getting any treatment in the jail.
