Mongolia wants to take skilled manpower from Bangladesh

East Asian country Mongolia has expressed its interest in taking skilled manpower from Bangladesh. Gunbold Dambajav, the country’s non-resident ambassador, expressed this interest in a courtesy meeting with State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul Islam Titu at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

State Minister of Commerce said, ‘many skilled manpower of Bangladesh are working with reputation in many countries of the world. There is a huge demand for Bangladeshi workers in the foreign labor market. The ambassador of Mongolia has expressed interest in taking manpower in various sectors including doctors-nurses, engineers and construction, agriculture.

The Minister of State for Commerce also said that there is a need for skilled manpower in the English language. He said, ‘There are many graduates in English in Bangladesh who have made themselves proficient by following international standards such as ILTS, TOEFL, GRE.’

The Minister of State for Commerce requested the Government of Mongolia through the ambassador to take necessary measures to appoint students proficient in English as teachers in schools, colleges and universities of that country. He also called for importing pharmaceutical products from Bangladesh.
