Bangladesh Congress party candidate for Patuakhali-1 constituency in the 12th National Parliament election. A CR case has been filed against Nasir Uddin Talukdar (dubbed Marka) for embezzlement of Tk 80 lakh. The court directed the CID to investigate. His other six relatives have also been accused in this case.

Patuakhali Senior Judicial Magistrate’s Court-1 filed the case today on Thursday, a resident of Jainkathi village of Patuakhali Sadar Upazila. Saifullah.

According to the source of the case, Md. Nasir Uddin Talukdar has taken 80 lakh rupees from more than 500 people including the plaintiffs and witnesses of the case by showing the lure of profit through the NGO called ‘Janakarm Sahajik Society (Janak)’. After that he embezzled the money without telling anyone and went into hiding. The plaintiff in his case presented the account of 36 lakh 21 thousand 440 rupees to the court along with the plaintiff and witnesses of the 23 contracts.

In this regard, Bangladesh Congress party candidate Md. Nasir Uddin Talukder said, ‘The plaintiff in the case is my relative. We had tea together at my constituency office four days ago. I will get money and I don’t know. I should know first of all.’

Nasir Uddin Talukder claimed that the opposing candidates in the election can make this false conspiracy case against him. He said that he will deal with this case legally.

Meanwhile, he alleged that campaign mics and vehicles were vandalized in Nasir Uddin Talukdar elections. The incident took place at 5 pm on Wednesday in Chhota Bighai area of ​​Sadar Upazila. He mentioned in the written complaint that he was threatened to kill while vandalizing the car. In this incident, plow marker candidate ABM Ruhul Amin filed a complaint against Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Noor Qutubul Alam on the same day. He has also sent a copy to the Election Commission.

Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Noor Qutubul Alam admitted the fact of receiving the complaint and said that it has been sent to the judge of the Electoral Inquiry Committee to take necessary action in this regard.
