Mild to moderate cold current is blowing in 41 districts of the country. Chuadanga and Sirajganj recorded the lowest temperature of the season at 6.6 degrees Celsius. The temperature in the capital also dropped to 11.1 degrees Celsius. According to the Met Office, such conditions may continue for another two to three days. Apart from this, light to moderate rain may occur in Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions today Tuesday and tomorrow Wednesday.
Most of the districts of the country, including North Bengal, are feeling the shivers of Magh winter. The temperature has dropped all over the country including the capital. 41 districts of the country are under the influence of cold current. At least six districts, including Faridpur, Sirajganj, are experiencing a moderate cold wave with the temperature dropping below 8 degrees.
The temperature in the capital fell to 11.1 degrees on Tuesday. Although the sun appeared in the morning, the severity of the winter did not decrease due to the frosty wind. Hardworking people are in trouble.
Meteorologist Bajlur Rashid said that a total of 41 districts including Dhaka, Khulna, Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions are experiencing mild to moderate cold current. This situation may continue for at least two to three more days.
Bazlur Rashid also said that rain is also forecast in Konkan across the country amid cold. Light to moderate rain may occur in Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and its surrounding areas.
The temperature may increase slightly from Friday. However, the cold weather will continue throughout January, says the Met Office.
