Mild cold current is blowing, minimum temperature is 9.3 degree in Panchagarh

In the northern district of Panchagarh, the temperature has increased but a mild cold current is flowing. The Tetulia Meteorological Office recorded the country’s lowest temperature of 9.3 degrees Celsius at 9 am on Wednesday. The minimum temperature on Tuesday was 7.6 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature of the season fell to 5 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

On Friday, severe cold flow started at 5.8 degrees Celsius. Since then, the minimum temperature has been fluctuating below 10 for six consecutive days. Even after 10 am on Wednesday, the sun did not appear.

On Tuesday afternoon, the sun shone brightly, but the fog started in the afternoon. Along with the chilly north wind, the bone-chilling cold is felt. Laborers and low income people are suffering in winter in Konkan.

Talking to a local day laborer, it is known that he has not been able to leave the house for six days in a row due to severe winter. Even so, they have to leave the house and look for work to earn a living.
