Madrasah student died after being hit by CNG at 300 feet

A madrasa student named Abdur Rauf (20) was killed by CNG in the 300 feet area of ​​Khilkhet police station of the capital.
This incident happened at 5:30 pm on Sunday.

It is known that Abdur Rauf is the son of Akmat Ali of Kalbari village of Roumari upazila of Kurigram. He was a student of Madinatul Uloom Madrasah Ketab Khana of Bashundhara area and currently resided in that Madrasah.

Masud, a classmate of the deceased student, said, ‘Madrasah authorities gave us some time to fight after Asr prayer. Bashundhara being a madrasa next to residential area, we were walking in 300 feet area. My classmate Abdur Rauf was standing by the road. At that time, a speeding private car hit a CNG, and when the CNG hit Abdur Rauf, who was standing next to him, he was knocked down and seriously injured.

Both the CNGO private cars fled from the spot. Later, we rescued him and took him to Dhaka Medical, he said that Abdur Rauf died at one-stop emergency center (OSEC) of the emergency department at around 9:30 p.m.

Inspector in charge of police camp of DMK Hospital Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter by quoting the doctor. He said the body has been kept in the morgue of the hospital’s emergency department. We have reported the matter to the concerned police station.
