Madison Marsh won the ‘Miss America’ title from fighter pilot

American fighter pilot by profession. Only 22 years old. Her name is Madison Marsh. She won the Miss America 2024 crown on Monday (January 15) Bangladesh time.

According to People’s magazine, Madison Marsh won the Miss America contest after defeating 51 contestants representing 50 states including the District of Columbia. Ellie Breaux was the first runner-up in this year’s event, Sydney Bridges was the second runner-up, Mallory Hudson was the third runner-up and Carolyn Parent was the fourth runner-up. Madison was crowned the winner at the ceremony by former Miss America Grace Stanke.

During the question and answer session, Madison was asked about her goals as Miss America. Miss America then shared her military identity with a passion for learning and her commitment to leadership. Marsh was also a bit emotional on stage. While talking, the topic of his mother, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2018, came up. Her mother’s death inspired Madison to create the Whitney Marsh Foundation to raise money for cancer research.

After winning the Miss America title, the US Air Force tweeted about Madison, ‘Congratulations to our Airman Second Lieutenant Madison Marsh, aka Miss Colorado, who has just been crowned Miss America-2024! Marsh is the first active-duty military member to win the title.’

Incidentally, US Air Force Second Lieutenant Madison Marsh. He is also a Master’s student in Public Policy Program at Harvard Kennedy School. She previously became the first active-duty Air Force officer to win the Miss Colorado 2023 national title. Apart from this, she was also the winner of the Orlando beauty pageant in Florida.
